Nick "Wideout" Stolz

Height: 6-foot
Weight: 205
Throws: Right
Bats: Right
Age: 33
Home: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Birthplace: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Explanation of nickname:  I played defensive end at a measly 150 lbs. in high school and consistently got blown off the line. I always had good hands but my coaches never let me use them. I wanted to be a wide receiver and thus, that's where MY nickname comes from.
Occupation: Head painter at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission
Favorite MLB team(s): Milwaukee Brewers and the late '80s/early '90s Oakland A's
Favorite historical player(s): Joe DiMaggio
How became involved with vintage base ball: I was looking for something to do one weekend in 2007 and happened to come across a game at old Trimborn Farm featuring the Cream Citys. I was hooked from day one. Spoke to the coach, "Handlebar," and began playing in 2008. The rest is history.
