David "Spike" Lee

Height: 5-foot-10
Weight: 160
Throws: Right
Bats: Right
Age: 51
Home: Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Birthplace: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Explanation of nickname:  I figured an engineer back around 1860 would probably be employed designing and building railroads. Plus it goes well with my last name, but that has nothing to do with vintage base ball. Last, Smokey's son "Stitch" liked Spike from a list I ran by him and that sealed the deal for me.
Occupation: Engineer
Favorite MLB team(s): Milwaukee Brewers (NL) and Cleveland Indians (AL)
Favorite historical player(s): Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, Joe Morgan, Kenny Lofton and Cal Ripken Jr.
How became involved with vintage base ball: My former next door neighbor, Rich "Lefty" Mueller, cajoled me into playing in a match at Trimborn Farm in October 2007 that the Cream Citys organized. I enjoyed the friendly competition and joining the upstart Grays gave me an opportunity to be playing a game I haven't done in an organized fashion since Little League.
