Ted "Old Dog" Mueller

Height: 5-foot-9
Weight: 165
Throws: Right
Bats: Right
Age: 62
Home: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Birthplace: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Explanation of nickname: When my three sons were small, I playfully called them puppies and they named me Poppy Dog. They think they've outgrown nicknames like that now, while I have actually become an Old Dog.
Occupation: Urban forestry manage/landscape architect
Favorite MLB team(s): Milwaukee Brewers, 1970s Oakland A's
Favorite historical player(s): Warren Spahn - had a long, brilliant career and was a true gentleman; Rollie Fingers - had a "game's over" attitude even when he came on in the seventh inning.
How became involved with vintage base ball: I was introduced to vintage base ball when I met Handlebar and The Gent of the Cream Citys at the Milwaukee Public Museum. They were re-enactors at The Streets of Old Milwaukee Come Alive. I've always loved the step back in time at events like this and at places like Old World Wisconsin. I've played ball in one form or another all my life. Vintage is a perfect mix.
