THIRD ANNUAL TURN BACK THE CLOCK MATCH
Dec. 5, 2009 at Big Bend
Members of the Milwaukee Cream Citys and Milwaukee Grays gathered to honor the first game under "New York" rules played in Milwaukee, which occurred Nov. 30, 1859.
The teams split up into two sides, J.L. Hathaway vs. Rufus King - just as the original game. And much like the 1859 affair, the Hathaway team won, 21-19, staging a rally in the final three innings.
