Explanation of nickname: When I realized that everyone on the team had nicknames I had to come up with
something that would be descriptive of me. I chose the name of Dead Pull because
of my tendency to constantly drive the ball down the third base line - Hence

How became involved with vintage base ball: Read an article in a 50-plus newspaper. I proceeded to contact Handlebar Hetzel
to learn more about the game. He invited me to a couple of tryouts. And as they
say the rest is history.
